Services

Individual

Individual therapy is the process of which a therapist and client work one on one to build a supportive relationship exploring thoughts, feelings and behaviors. The therapist will use different modalities to provide individualized treatment to address the needs of the client.

Family

Family therapy is a therapeutic session/s involving two or more members of the family dynamic to discuss issues of distress within the family system, goal alignment and creating support. Therapists work to engage all members of the family to create a healthy comfortable open dialog. If members would benefit from individual therapy, necessary referrals will be made.

Group

Group therapy or support groups are used to not only benefit the client but in some cases those in supportive roles. Groups usually run for eight sessions to gain support and education from others with similar issues, struggles and goals. Groups can be beneficial alongside individual therapy. Groups are commonly used but not limited to individuals suffering with addiction, eating disorders, anxiety and depression.

Teletherapy

The Kenner Center is compliant with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and uses Zoom to video conference with clients. This is convenient for clients with busy schedules, traveling and on the go. Teletherapy has the added benefit of being in a comfortable surrounding while seeking treatment. This is not ideal for all clients but can be used for therapeutic services.
